Chalid Arrab

David Howe

Chief Operating Officer
David has over 30 years of international oilfield experience, encompassing technical and operational assignments, delivering Operations Readiness for fixed and floating installations (FSPO & FLNG), offshore field management, including installation, commissioning, start-up, hand over and steady state operations. He is skilled in the day-to-day management of all field related activities striving to achieve Operations Excellence through continuous improvement of; safety, on target production, asset integrity, budget control, logistics and employee relations.

Michael Zolotas

Chief Financial Officer
A leading shipping banker with 15 years of Corporate Finance experience gained at Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking Division in London. Having started as an analyst at Deutsche Bank, he rose through the ranks to become Managing Director and European Head of Shipping & Logistics. Michael has originated, structured and executed in excess of 40 shipping and LNG related transactions across a broad range of products, including Structured Finance, M&A, ECM and LDCM. He studied Economics and Management at Oxford University and has an MBA from INSEAD.

Artem Matyushok

Chief Investment officer
A professional with 20 years experience in Oil & Gas ranging from the start-up operational environment to the corporate division of a major FTSE 100 company. Artem has a broad and deep industry knowledge, having undertaken operational and commercial roles at Royal Dutch Shell where he worked for 10 years. During his career at Shell, Artem has sanctioned FID for two projects and participated in Sakhalin II LNG Project Financing. His experience is further strengthened by his work as a Senior Executive at TNK-BP and Rosneft. Artem has executed numerous high profile M&A transactions with total value in excess of $100bn; he has considerable experience in JVs and has over the years built a considerable network of credible industrial partners in CIS as well as worldwide.

Brett Wight

Executive Director
A highly experienced senior executive having more than 20 years’ international experience in law, engineering, construction and the delivery of major engineering and construction projects. Brett was a lawyer with Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst) focusing on major projects especially in transport, energy, mining and engineering. Brett has extensive experience advising on projects including sporting complexes, commercial developments, energy, mining and engineering projects. He has advised government, developers, contractors, major corporations and significant clubs and organisations. Before joining Lloyds Energy, Brett was a board member of an established multi-national engineering and construction company that undertook major projects throughout Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Such projects included airports, stadiums, industrial facilities, process plants and public infrastructure. Brett has significant experience in developing and executing company strategy, business development, planning, procurement, finance and project management.

John White

General Counsel
John has over 25 years' experience in private practice, during this time he spent 16 years as a Partner of international law firm Baker Botts. His experiences includes project development and finance, project and asset finance, corporate M&A, joint ventures and international trade. His specific LNG experience includes the structuring, development, finance, construction and launch of greenfield liquefaction and regasification projects and related upstream developments, FLNG and FSRU projects, LNG SPA trading and LNG shipping matters, including ship construction and chartering.

Omar Qandeel

Director
Omar Qandeel received his Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree in physics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1985 followed by a Master of Science degree in Geological Science from University of Southern California in 1990. A Saudi citizen, Qandeel specialized in project development and consulting for European and Asian corporations doing business in the Middle East and North Africa. Qandeel’s recent assignments include providing consulting services for financial institutions desiring access to the Middle Eastern markets and assisting them in establishing contacts in the region.

Luc Speeleveld

Director of Supply & Marketing
Luc is the Director of Supply & Marketing for Lloyds Energy Group of companies, and responsible for the LNG procurement, supply, trading and port-folio optimisation. He has over 26 years of experience in the energy space, with key positions in power and LNG business in particular. Before joining Lloyds Energy, Luc Speeleveld joined Gunvor Group in 2010 as Head of LNG Asia in Singapore and was instrumental in growing Gunvor’s LNG business in the Asian-Pacific region. Prior to Gunvor, he had a diverse career with Engie for 17 years. Though he initialled worked on IPP (Independent Power Projects), he quickly moved into the fuel supply related businesses during his assgnments in UK and India. Subsequently, he was part of the M&A team in USA and ws involved in the acquisition of Cabot LNG in 2001 by the then Tractebel (now part of Engie). From there he transitioned fully into the international LNG business and moved to Trinidad and Tobago to manage the Atlantic LNG assets for 4 years. Subsequently, he returned to the LNG division in London where he developed new partnerships in the LNG business for Engie and developed new supplies and markets for Engie’s LNG portfolio in Asia and Latin America. Luc has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Louvain in Belgium and a Masters in Petroleum Economics and Management from the IFP School in France.

Jeff Snide

Finance Director
Jeff started his career in Canada with Canadian Natural Resources Ltd (CNRL) and later moved internationally with the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) where he most recently served as TAQA’s Finance Director for their Iraq operations. His 15 years of experience include company startup, joint ventures, business planning, corporate strategy as well as significant exposure to all areas of Finance & Accounting including operations, treasury, FP&A and economics. Jeff is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Saint Mary’s University in Canada.

Dave Clark

Senior Vice President - FSRUs & Terminals
Dave has recently worked for BW Offshore and Maersk FPSOs in Brazil, as Operations Manager on large FPSO projects, prior to this he was with SBM Offshore for nine years in various senior project and operational positions. He has a wealth of highly relevant experience with a 35-year international career, built on extensive marine, oilfield and project experience, and working with globally recognised international oil companies ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, Statoil and Petrobras. This included technical and operational assignments involving all aspects of delivering operational readiness for floating installations (FPSO and FLNG); and offshore field management experience including installation, commissioning, start-up, steady state operations, and subsequent field decommissioning.

Adel Trabelsi

SVP Projects, Technical & Engineering
Adel Trabelsi has more than 28 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry mostly with floating production facilities (FLNG, FPSO, FPU, Platforms)He has recently worked for Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea, as Vice President Offshore Engineering, prior to this he was with Technip France in various senior project positions and prior to that he was with Doris Engineering in Paris.Adel has an extensive experience of the management and coordination of complex offshore Oil & Gas projects worldwide covering all phases of the project execution.

Nurcan Dogruyol

SVP Downstream Energy Solutions
18+ years of experience with Contractual, Commercial and Business Development roles in Power Projects including FastTrack Floating Power. Previous leading roles at Heidelberg Cement, TAQA North Africa and Karpowership.

Elvira Pleshakova

VP Contracts & Procurement
Elvira has 19 years of experience in Contracts and Procurement area on onshore and offshore oil and gas projects with a degree in international commercial law (with Honors) and CIPS qualification (UK). Previous experience includes working worldwide on both Client/Operator’s side and Contractor’s side for companies like Dubai Petroleum, Lukoil, Shell, BP, ENI, Saipem and Fluor.

Johanna MacGinn

VP Human Resources
Johanna heads up Lloyds Energy’s Human Resources department based in Dubai. Johanna graduated from Edinburgh University in 2007 with an MA in History and has keen understanding on the complexities of working in the oil and gas sector, having worked for various oil and gas focussed HR and Recruitment Consultancies. She has  also  spent a number of years working for the Human Resources department of Premier Oil, overseeing a large recruitment drive in Asia and the UK.
