This policy explains how Lloyds Energy DMCC collects and uses personal information through this website, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.
Who we are
This website is operated by Lloyds Energy DMCC, an independent energy and LNG consultancy based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website.
You can contact us by email at info@lloyds-energy.com, by telephone on +971 4 551 9211, or by post at Floor 14, One JLT Tower, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Information we collect
When you send us an enquiry through the website form or by email, we collect the information you provide:
- your full name and the company or organisation you represent
- your email address and, if you choose to give it, your telephone number
- the subject and content of your message, and anything else you include in it
Please do not include sensitive or confidential information in an enquiry.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of each request, in order to deliver the website and keep it secure. To limit repeated automated submissions, the enquiry service briefly holds a one-way hashed identifier derived from your IP address or browser details in memory; it is discarded within about ten minutes and is not stored.
We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking tools on this website.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- read and respond to your enquiry and discuss the consultancy services you have asked about
- keep appropriate records of our business correspondence
- operate, protect and maintain the website, including preventing misuse of the enquiry form
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell your personal information, use it for automated decision-making, or use it to send marketing unless you have asked us to.
Why we are allowed to use it
We process enquiry information to take steps at your request before any engagement, and for our legitimate interest in responding to and managing business enquiries. We process technical information for our legitimate interest in running a secure website. Where the law requires your consent, for example for optional cookies, we ask for it first and you can withdraw it at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as we need it to respond to you, to manage any resulting business relationship and to meet legal, accounting or record-keeping requirements. We then delete or anonymise it. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and operational purposes.
How we protect it
The website is delivered over an encrypted connection, and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending confidential information through the website.
Your rights
Depending on the laws that apply to you, which may include the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information, or to restrict or stop using it
- withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting earlier processing
- complain to the data protection authority responsible for you
To make a request, email info@lloyds-energy.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Other websites
This website may link to other websites, and your email app may be opened to send an enquiry. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites or services, so please read their policies.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Where a change affects your cookie choices, we will ask you again.
