In a brief statement through his social media channels, Pradhan said he discussed synergies between India and Japan “in areas of mutual interest, especially in oil & gas.”

The parties explored opportunities to establish a global LNG market reflecting true LNG demand & supply.

He also noted the discussions focused on frameworks for greater co-operation in building LNG infrastructure in India & Asia.
