Pembina, the Canadian energy infrastructure company, continues to progress its proposed Jordan Cove LNG project that will transport natural gas from the Malin Hub in southern Oregon to an export terminal.
The company noted in its quarterly report that it has received a United States Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Notice of Schedule based on which it anticipates a final FERC decision on the proposed Jordan Cove LNG project in November of 2019.
Pembina continues to anticipate first gas in 2024, pending the receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals and a positive final investment decision.
To remind, Pembina secured 100 percent ownership of the 7.8 million ton per annum LNG export project following the acquisition of Veresen in October 2017.
