The South Hook LNG terminal on the shores of Milford Haven waterway is set to receive a liquefied natural gas cargo from the United States before the end of the year.
According to the Milford Haven Port Authority data, the 165,500-cbm Magellan Spirit liquefied natural gas tanker is scheduled to dock at the South Hook LNG terminal on December 29.
The cargo has been loaded at Cheniere’s Sabine Pass liquefied natural gas export facility in Louisiana.
Gas supply from the South Hook terminal to UK’s grid was about 11.07 mcm/day on Monday, according to the latest data by National Grid.
The terminal, owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total, can provide around 20 percent of Britain’s natural gas requirements.
