Over the past weekend, the fifth transshipment of Yamal LNG volumes since the start of the year took place at Elengy’s liquefied natural gas terminal of Montoir-de-Bretagne.
The cargo was delivered from the Yamal LNG facility on Saturday, March 3 aboard the Arc7 ice-class LNG tanker Christophe de Margerie and was then transferred to the Maran Gas Ulysses tanker.
The Greek-flagged Maran Gas Ulysses tanker with the capacity to transport 174,000 cubic meters delivered the cargo to the Dragon LNG terminal on Tuesday, March 6.
The fifth transshipment operation since the start of the year at the Montoir-de-Bretagne is conducted under the long-term transshipment services deal signed between Elengy and the Yamal LNG project operator, Novatek.
The Montoir-de-Bretagne terminal has been adapted in order to provide the service during the period of the contract.
