State-run gas company GAIL India has reportedly offered a cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for loading from the United States in May.
Citing two industry sources, Reuters said on Monday that GAIL offered the LNG cargo for loading from the Cove Point plant.
The company is also seeking an LNG cargo for India’s Hazira or Dahej terminal over May to June delivery.
The sources added that the tender for the swap deal was scheduled to close on April 16, they said.
