Lloyds Energy
Lloyds Energy's strategy is to become the industry leader in the crucial value chain, between the major international gas suppliers and international gas consumers.
The core business of Lloyds Energy (LE) is focused on the monetisation of pipeline quality natural gas. Lloyds Energy through its Near Shore FLNG (NSFLNG) will utilise pipeline quality gas through standard liquefaction process technologies near offshore to produce LNG. Lloyds Energy has the option to market (Spot or Long Term) or transport the LNG to a Floating Storage Regasification and Powerplant (NSFRPP) to deliver commercial options at end point of kW/h (power) and / or MMBtu (gas) at an optimized cost.
The Lloyds Energy strategy to achieve this is by liquefaction of the gas and export to the global market based on LE core business objectives supported by the global demand for LNG and gas as a ‘clean’ fuel of choice cognisant of environmental benefits in the reduction of environmental pollution and ‘greenhouse’ gas emissions to atmosphere.
Lloyds Energy through its associations with Government Trade Finance Agency’s and International Export Credit Agencies (ECA) for instance, Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) can assist to bring international external financing.
Lloyds Energy has a unique integrated business focus which combines Gas-2-Wire Integrated LNG Supply Chain. The company operates in three distinct business divisions / units:
- Near Shore Floating Liquid Natural Gas (NSFLNG)
- Floating Storage and Regasification and Power Plant (NSFRPP)
- Sales and Marketing LNG - Long term Supply Contracts through our NSFLNG facilities and LNG Spot Trading
