Chart Industries named Jillian Evanko as the company’s chief executive officer and president and has been elected to the board of directors, effective immediately.
Evanko has served as vice president, chief financial officer, chief accounting officer and treasurer of Chart since March 2017.
She succeeds William Johnson who has been terminated without cause, in accordance with his employment contract, US LNG engineer said in its statement.
Steven Krablin, who has served as a member of the company’s board since July 2006 and has been the lead independent director since June 2015, has been elected chairman of the board.
Chart and its board of directors have commenced a search for a new chief financial officer.
The company also appointed two corporate executives, as Tom Pittet, who serves as vice president of tax and treasury, will assume the additional role of treasurer, and Michael Schmit has been appointed chief accounting officer, in addition to his current role as corporate controller.
