CPB Contracors seal APLNG deal

CIMIC Group company CPB Contractors has been awarded a package of gas gathering and infrastructure works worth approximately $90 million for Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) in the Surat Basin, Queensland.

Under the contract, CPB Contractors will deliver more than 300 coal seam gas wells over two years, the company said in a statement.

The company has already delivered gas gathering infrastructure for more than 800 wells for APLNG over the past five years.

Works under the new contract include infrastructure for access tracks and well site lease pad preparation, gas and water pipeline gathering networks, electrical supply networks and rehabilitation of right of ways after installations are complete.
